Soft landscaping

At Visionary Gardens we offer landscaping services such as making paths, building raised beds, mulching, planting up borders and shrubs and laying gravel. Hard landscaping builds the foundations and skeleton of a garden and soft landscaping fills in the rest.

Planting

Planting borders and beds is a mix of science and art, the scientific side is the soil, drainage, light availability and comparability of the chosen plants. The artistic side is the colour, shape and flow of the plants when growing together and in different stages of the growing season and throughout their lives.

Through careful design and planting the borders and beds offer successional colour throughout the year with grasses, shrubs and flowering plants. This seasonal variation should flow and change throughout the year creating a dynamic environment that offers so much enjoyment from the same space.

At Visionary Gardens we are experienced in designing, planting and maintaining beds and borders of all sizes. As well as this we are well versed in creating these spaces from scratch and building the infrastructure to make them functional and accessible. Water collection is also very important in most gardens, we can offer advice and help with the construction of water collection systems. Not only does collecting rainwater save money but plants favour the naturally balanced ph of rainwater.
